If you are not aware the default setting in MSN messenger is to save all the history. You can get in a ton of trouble if you do not change this setting to turn off MSN Chat History . Imagine you are at working and chatting online with friends or even lovers. Do you really want your boss to read your private chats? I am working on a detailed tutorial to show you how to disable the MSN Chat History. Should be up very soon. Keep checking back.

Whenever i log on to msn and open up a chat it shows what i previously said to them in light gray. like the other day i said hey to someone then had to log, when i came back on and opened up there chat in light gray it had the messages i said when i was last speaking to them. How do i turn this off?

I figured it out;
On the page you get after you log in;
1)click on your name (Example ‘yabbadabba@hotmail.com (online)’)
2) Scroll down to options and click on the tab
3) Click the tab that says messages (On mine its the third tab)
4) Then go to -Message History- and check and uncheck the boxes you want

I clicked a box that says it wont keep a copy of my message history, but it does! How do I turn it off? I do not like having to manually delete all my chat.
